Dr Heinze’s third book entitled Japanese Visual Worlds (German title Japanische Blickwelten: Manga, Medien und Museen im Zeichen künstlicher Realität ) will be published in February 2013. Several chapters will analyse the Japanese kamikaze film “I am going to die for you” by Ishihara Shintaro, compare the use of television in Britain and Japan, and introduce works by Japanese media theorists (Yoshimi Shunya, Ōsawa Masachi, Okonogi Keigo).
