Simon Kaner (Assistant Director, Sainsbury Institute; Senior Lecturer, University of East Anglia) was on BBC Radio 4 on 29 January as a part of the series ‘A History of the World in 100 Objects.’
He discussed the bottom part of a Jomon pot that was subsequently used as a mizusashi (water container) in the tea ceremony with Neil McGregor (Director, British Museum) and Doi Takashi (Agency for Cultural Affairs). The pot is now in the British Museum collections.
