Sainsbury Institute signs a Memorandum of Understanding with Kokugakuin University’s Organization for the Advancement of Research and Development
The Sainsbury Institute signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Kokugakuin University’s Organization for the Advancement of Research and Development in Tokyo on 8 March 2016. The Memorandum follows a research collaboration agreement made in 2009, and was signed by Inoue Nobutaka, Head of Advancement of Research and Development and Professor of Shinto Culture, and Mami Mizutori, Executive Director of the Sainsbury Institute.
The Memorandum promotes collaborative academic research between the two organisations including conducting joint research projects, exchange of researchers and other academic activities.
After the signing, Professor Inoue and Mami discussed some of the key research being undertaken at their institutions and exchanged ideas for future collaborations.
