About the Symposium
Japanese works of art form an important part of the world’s major museum collections. This symposium explores how key museums in the US, UK and Europe collect, conserve, promote and use cultural artefacts from Japan. Specialists from the UK, US and Japan will discuss challenges on the management of physical objects in addition to the benefits of scholarly network and exchanges.
