About the workshop

This workshop, co-organised and hosted by the Department of Archaeology at the Eberhard Karls University in Tubingen, will examine current trends in the archaeology of mounded tombs. Relating closely to the Sainsbury Institute’s ongoing research into the archaeology of the kofun period, this specialist workshop brings together experts from Japan, Germany, UK and France.’
