Measuring Heritage Loss and Damage from Climate Change for Effective Policy Reporting

Thursday 30 March, 2023
9:00am BST - 6:00pm BST

The British Academy and Climate UEA have teamed up to deliver a conference exploring the human cost of coastal erosion due to rising sea levels and climate change.

Sainsbury Institute’s Dr Andy Hutcheson will be presenting alongside many archaeology scholars and climate change specialists from UEA and beyond. The symposium aims to overcome the disciplinary differences between the humanities and science and explore how the study of cultural heritage can contribute to future policy making on climate change.

The conference will take place at UEA’s Enterprise Centre. Tickets are £10 each.
